It is a great pleasure to be part of the wedding services of many couples each year who want to begin their marriage with a Christian Marriage Service.

As a church in the Anglican Diocese of Waiapu, in line with Diocesan policies, we offer Anglican wedding services taken by an Anglican Priest. We are not a wedding venue available for hire. We take your commitment to each other very seriously, and want to help you prepare well both for the wedding service and for your life together.

Preparation with the vicar
To help you prepare the vicar offers the
Prepare/Enrich. This programme is described as ďa leading relationship inventory and couples assessment tool. Scientifically validated as a foundational program for premarital counselling, marriage enrichment, couples therapy, marriage mentoring and marriage education. PREPARE/ENRICH automatically tailors the content of the relationship assessment to fit each couple's unique relationship stage and family structure."
PREPARE/ENRICH involves both of you completing an online survey to help you identify the unique strengths and potential growth areas of your relationship. You then meet with the vicar 4-6 times to work through these. Those who have met with the vicar in these sessions describe it as a very positive way of spending some quality time growing in their relationship prior to making a final marriage commitment.

The Parish has good organists who can assist you with music for the occasion. We also have a sound systems to play CD music.

Flowers in the Church
We have four large displays you can choose from if you are interested.

The cost of a wedding in the Parish is $350. This covers the building and the staff. PREPARE/ENRICH has a cost of $50.
The organist is $75, and the flowers are $50.
