AGM Reports

Lay Licence Training Day: Saturday 17th March at St. Barnabas, Ngongotaha from 9.30am. Engaging with the Bible - how do we read it? All welcome (No licence needed). Transport? – Bonnie 575 9930.

Want to help organise Palm Sunday – If you are interested in helping to organise and run the 9.30 Palm Sunday service come to the meeting on Sunday 11th after the 8am service to sort it out.

CYCLONE GITA - RELIEF APPEAL: Please remember the peoples of American Samoa, Fiji, Samoa and Tonga in your prayers as they recover from Cyclone Gita. The storm caused extensive damage, especially in Tonga. Christian World Service (CWS) has launched an appeal to help in Tonga. Lenten Studies Waiapu Lenten Studies 2018. A six-session Lenten Studies in Mark (and John).Resuming after 9.30am service.

Interested in World Religions? Take an adult education course which explores the history, development and beliefs of the world’s main religious traditions contributing to NZ society. Friday evenings, 6pm-8pm, in St. George’s Lounge. Starting Friday 16th Feb to Friday 6th April. Cost $80 per term or $65 unwaged. More info at or speak to John.

AAW March Meeting: Tuesday 13th at 1pm. To be held in the church. A communion service and commissioning followed by a discussion and afternoon tea in the lounge.

The Chancel Choir of St. Peter's, sings the first Choral Evensong of 2018. This service will feature choral works by Parry, Stanford, and Bach, as well as popular evening hymns for congregation. The Rev'd Wendy Showan will officiate. Choral Evensong will now be sung once a month on the first Sunday of every month at 4:00 PM at St. Peter's, Victoria St, Mt. Maunganui …so mark your calendars.
