Merivale School Breakfast Club is looking for volunteers to help on Thursday or Friday mornings a fun hour spent serving weetbix and milos to our gorgeous kids. If interested please call 0800 825392or pop in to our school office

Book launch: At 6:00 pm on Thursday 22 November Cliff Simons and Buddy Mikaere are launching their book on the Battle of Pukehinahina-Gate Pâ at St George's.There will be a short kapa haka performance, some brief speeches, a book signing and supper. All are most welcome to come and enjoy this occasion.

25 November service with All Saints . Please note that the service will begin at 10 am. Please bring a plate for morning tea.

Fundraiser for Waiapu Top Parish 2019 - SUNDAY 25th Nov. gathering at 2pm. $10 per person plus a small plate for afternoon tea. Teams of up to 6 people or come and join a team. Tickets available from the church office.

You are warmly invited and encouraged to attend the FORMAL APOLOGY to Nga Iwi o Tauranga Moana by the Anglican Church for the “sale” of the Te Papa Block by CMS to the New Zealand government in 1866. The formal hui for the reception of the apology will be held at Cliff Road, Tauranga - Saturday 1 December 2018, 9am onwards. This will include formal speeches from representatives of Nga Iwi o Tauranga Moana, and the Anglican Church, including a reading of the apology in both English and Te Reo. Please gather outside The Elms, 15 Mission St, Tauranga at 9am and prepare to walk to Cliff Rd to be welcomed in a powhiri. Bring umbrellas if it looks likes rain. A koha may be taken to add to the contribution made by the Anglican Church.

Bringing Advent to Life: Stations on the Way to Christmas. Sunday 2 December, 7pm. Come and share a joint service with the Catholic Church hosted at St. George’s. An Advent Service with a twist. There will be coffee and cake (if you bring it) in the Lounge after the service. We need readers please.

AAW Notice: Since we failed to form a committee at our AGM we are taking a three month hiatus till next February, when we will reconvene to make a final decision on the future. We will not collect subs at this stage but if you wish to order the Circle magazine for 2019 please see Ainsley before the end of the month. Cost of Circle is $7.00 for four issues.
