THIS SUNDAY: Join us at Taizé Sunday 23rd September at 7pm for a quiet, candle lit, contemplative service.

Parish Coffee Meet: Tuesday 25th September, 10.30am. We are meeting at Zest Cafe in Chadwick Road this month. All welcome.

RIALTO MOVIE! Our next Rialto Movie will be “The Ladies in Black” on Sunday 7th October, at 1pm. Tickets $15 each from Parish office (07 578 7916). Set in the summer of 1959, when the impact of European migration and the rise of women’s liberation is about to change Australia forever, a shy schoolgirl (Lisa) takes a summer job at the prestigious Sydney department store, Goode’s. There she meets the “ladies in black”, who will change her life forever.

Tauranga Faiths Come Together to Support World Peace. The Tauranga Moana Interfaith Council invites you to its fourth annual Prayers for World Peace event in support of the International Week of Prayer for World Peace (14th to 21st October). People of all faiths are welcome to offer prayers for world peace in ways that both reflect the diversity of our many faiths and our common desire for peace in our world. Over the last three years this has included music, prayers, readings, talks on world peace and silence. The service will be held in The Village Hall at the Tauranga Historic Village on 17th Avenue, on Wednesday 17th October, gathering from 6:30pm for a 7pm start followed by light refreshments afterward (please bring a plate to share). The members of Tauranga Moana Interfaith Council welcome all who stand and pray for peace with them. To know more please speak to John (Chairperson)
