Notices:
- Food bank – Please remember to bring something for Foodbank to help top up their Christmas boxes this year.
- Duty Rosters: A separate Roster has been put up in the foyer for volunteers for the Midnight Mass and Christmas Day Services and for the four 9am services throughout January 2019. Please add your name to the roster if you can help.
- Altar Guild: Volunteers are needed for the Altar Guild Roster, to polish brass, trim candles and change flowers. You would only be on for duty once every 6 weeks – not an onerous duty. Please contact Gaylene, phone 544 2156.
- Health and Safety! We greatly appreciate all the lovely gardeners in our parish who come up to St George’s and spend time and energy weeding and cutting back our gardens. Due to Health & Safety regulations, we need you to come into the office and let someone know you are on the grounds before you start, in case of an accident or injury. Any form of injury needs to be reported in our Workplace Injury Log Book.
- Historical Talks: Come and hear the Story of The Battle of Gate Pa, on Sunday, 27th January 7pm-9pm
and Sunday 3rd February 7pm-9pm presented by Lt. Col. Dr Cliff Simons
and The Treaty of Waitangi Sunday 10th February 7pm-9pm presented by the Rev’d Dr. David Williams.
- Parish Picnic: Sunday 27th January 2019 after the 9am service. Food and drink will be provided. $10 a ticket.
