Duty Rosters for July
out now in the foyer. Please collect yours. Apologies for those people having to do more than 2 duties a month – we are extremely short on readers and already have 2 people on holiday.

Parish Web: Out now in the Foyer for those not on email.
The office is moving towards having the Web on line, so we are not restricted to a certain number of pages as we are in hard copy and to make it more cost effective.
If you are on email you will now receive your Web digitally only. There will be no named hard copy for you at church. If you prefer a hard copy, you need to contact the office (578 7916) and let us know and we will keep you on the mailing list.
If we do not have your email address, or it has been changed, please let us know. There is a list in the foyer for you to add your new or changed email to.
There are extra booklets in the church for those who prefer.

Parish Coffee Meet: June 26th, 10.30am. This month we are meeting at the 11th Avenue Delicatessen (In the 11th Ave Plaza by Wendy's Clothing Boutique) All welcome. Phone Ainsley if you need a lift. (579 5172)

Government’s proposed Zero Carbon Act Public Meeting. Here in Tauranga, it is important that as many people as possible get involved with this issue. We need participation in the local meeting on 9 July 2018 at Greerton Hall, Cameron Rd, Tauranga from 5.00 to 7.00pm. The world is rapidly changing, both in the threats that climate change presents to our weather and our prospects for a bright future, as well as in the ways that policy, technology and community attitudes are adapting and supporting the changes that are needed. The consultation on the Zero Carbon Act that the government has just launched represents a bold initiative not only to set up a Climate Commission, but also to consult with the community country-wide to get our views on developing our future, addressing some rather sensitive issues such as the treatment of short-term greenhouse gases (such as methane). Please attend the meeting if you can to support this cause.

Parish Social Night, Greer’s Bar, Cnr Chadwick and Cameron Roads, Friday 6th July, 5pm. Come for a chat and social drink/meal with your fellow parishioners.

Giving Envelopes! Over the last few weeks, we have received giving envelopes with no number on them, so we cannot record your giving for tax receipts. PLEASE ensure you have your number on the envelope.

Oriana Singers present John Rutter’s “The Sprig of Thyme” and other folk songs of the British Isles. Sunday 24th June, 2.30pm. Otumoetai Baptist Church, 241 Otumoetai Rd. $15 ticket at door.
